I think the only way you can really show that you have learned some thing is to demonstrate it or show an example and explain it. But is that actually learning when you can just recite it or recite the process? Can you remember what you ” learned” in 5th grade? Can you remember what you “learned” last year? I bet you ( the 8th graders) knew most of the european contries at our final test last year, but what do you think you would get if you took that test now? What makes an experience something you remember? Can you say youv’e learned something if you can’t remember it a year later? What is learning really?
